Biography

Maryʼs introduction to the Collingwood area began at the age of 7, when her family would leave the city to spend weekends skiing. As a long-time member of Craigleith Ski Club, she has many fond memories of times spent with friends and family. She loves living in the Collingwood/Blue Mountains area because of the boundless activities and attractions year-round. This lifestyle cemented Maryʼs desire to relocate here many years ago, and any free time is spent outdoors – whether it be land or water. While her first love is skiing, other favourite activities include snowshoeing, hiking, biking, paddle boarding and kayaking.

Graduating from Western University with an Honours BA in Visual Arts and a B.Ed from U of T, Maryʼs previous career teaching high school art and as head of the Arts in several Barrie high schools made it an easy transition to real estate. She loves interacting with people and finds great satisfaction in being able to help them achieve their goals. Maryʼs art background, coupled with her own life experiences, have been an additional factor in her success. She, along with her husband Rip, have been homeowners, landlords, renovators, and they eventually designed and built the home they live in today. Thanks to this diverse background, she can authentically speak to her experiences when helping clients make decisions.

Mary is grateful for the opportunity to have grown up skiing in Collingwood and feels so fortunate that her two daughters have been able to enjoy the same experience. She has really enjoyed watching the area grow and gain in popularity and is so proud to be able to be an active member of this special community.

Mary is in the RE/MAX Hall of Fame, which recognizes RE/MAX top producers and is also a recipient of the RE/MAX Chairmanʼs Award which ranks her among the companyʼs highest producers.

Biography

Cori had been spending summers and winters in the Collingwood area her entire life until she made the somewhat easy decision to make the move permanently to the Blue Mountains to join Mary and Mark at RE/ MAX Four Seasons. As a lifelong member of Craigleith Ski Club, she grew up on the hills on winter weekends with family and friends, and also loved the summers, with all the activities the area has always had to offer. As a result, Cori has roots throughout the region, and when time permits now, you can find her skiing, hiking, golfing or playing tennis.

Prior to real estate, Cori was in the sponsorship marketing industry her entire career, which has included working at a national brewery, working for the Canadian Alpine Ski Team, and most recently, as a Partner and Senior Executive for 12 years at Canadaʼs most prominent sponsorship consulting agency, representing major Canadian clients, with some of the largest sports and entertainment portfolios in the country. This experience has armed Cori with an always-on, client-first approach, combined with a significant results-oriented style.

Thanks to this exciting career, Cori has had the benefit of experiencing some incredible adventures; however, her lifelong love of skiing brought her back to the Collingwood area to live and work full time in real estate, enabling her to share her passion for the area.

It was a timely and inevitable move for her to relocate to her home in the Blue Mountains, where she is currently on a mission to help others in their quest to live happily in this beautiful playground.
